On October 21, 2024, COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP and Cambodia China Buddhist Association (hereinafter referred to as CCBA) joined hands to organize a grand Buddhist celebration – “Guanyin Bodhisattva & Dragon King Seating Dara Sakor Ceremony and Star Lake Release Prayer Dharma Ceremony”, as well as to carry out the conference of the Great Bodhi Temple before the opening of the construction. Many guests were invited to attend the event, including Ms. Serena Sun, CEO of COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP, Mr. Du Baohong, Director of Dara Sakor Management Committee, Venerable Master Zhaoxing, Secretary General of Cambodia China Buddhist Association, and the presidents of various chambers of commerce. This event is not only a solemn religious ceremony, but also a milestone of the deep cooperation between COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP and CCBA, heralding the commencement of Cambodian-Chinese Friendship Bodhi Culture Park, and the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in the areas of cultural exchanges and humanistic development.
当天上午，照醒法师以诚挚的致辞拉开了庆典的序幕。他表示，今天幸逢观音菩萨出家圣诞，他对滨海城市发展集团的鼎力支持表达了深深的谢意，并着重阐述了佛教在现代社会中的重要地位以及此次合作对于弘扬佛教文化、促进社会和谐的重大意义。紧随其后，七星海管委会主任杜宝宏先生代表滨海城市发展集团领导发表讲话，他强调集团始终秉持“文化传承、共同发展”的理念，期待通过此次合作，进一步推动当地经济与文化的繁荣兴盛。
In the morning of that day, Venerable Master Zhaoxing, Secretary General of CCBA has announced the start of the ceremony with a sincere speech. He expressed that this day coincided with the Renunciation Day of Guanyin Bodhisattva. He expressed his deep gratitude to COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP for its full support and emphasized the importance of Buddhism in modern society and the significance of this cooperation in promoting Buddhist culture and social harmony. Mr. Du Baohong, Director of Dara Sakor Management Committee, delivered a speech on behalf of COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP, emphasizing that the Group has always been adhering to the concept of “cultural inheritance and common development”, and looking forward to further promoting the prosperity of the local economy and culture through this cooperation.
庆典活动中，来自各界的领导和嘉宾、义工们共同参与了洒净、请圣、恭诵《般若波罗蜜多心经》、回向等传统佛教仪式，整个仪式过程庄严有序，场面宏大，令每一位参与者都深感佛教文化的深邃与慈悲。随后，在星湖举行的放生活动，不仅弘扬了生命平等、慈悲为怀的佛教精神，更为星湖增添了无限生机与活力。
During the celebration, guests and believers from all walks of life participated in the traditional Buddhist rituals such as sprinkling, inviting the saints, reciting Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra, and returning the blessings, etc. The whole process of the rituals was solemn and orderly, with a grand scene, which made every participant deeply feel the depth and compassion of the Buddhist culture. Subsequently, the life release activities held on the Star Lake not only carried forward the Buddhist spirit of equality of life and compassion, but also added infinite vitality and vigor to the Star Lake.

After the ceremony, COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP and CCBA have held an in-depth and fruitful cooperation negotiation. Both sides discussed in detail and reached a consensus on the planning, design and construction of the Great Bodhi Temple and other related matters. The successful holding of the “Guanyin Bodhisattva & Dragon King Seating Dara Sakor Ceremony and Star Lake Release Prayer Dharma Ceremony” not only demonstrated the huge investment and contribution of COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP in religious and cultural undertakings, but also laid a solid foundation for the future construction of the Great Bodhi Temple.
