金秋送爽，丹桂飘香。为弘扬中华民族尊老、敬老、爱老的传统美德，切实关爱老年人的身体健康，10月29日上午，衡阳市中心医院老年医学科、华新综合普外科在华新院区一楼门诊大厅联合举办“情暖金秋 爱在重阳”重阳节惠民义诊活动，将便捷、专业的医疗服务送到老年朋友身边，累计为近百名老年朋友提供了健康咨询和检查服务。
义诊现场暖意融融，医护团队提前布置好检查设备，为老年人提供“零门槛”服务——无需挂号、无需缴费，即可参与全方位健康服务。老年医学科学科带头人覃春莲、华新综合普外科副主任李强及其医护团队耐心接待每一位前来咨询的老人，细致询问既往病史与身体状况，针对高血压、糖尿病、骨关节疾病、腹部疾病及腹股沟疝等老年常见问题，提供个性化健康指导与诊疗建议。同时，现场同步开展多项免费检查：从基础的血压、血糖测量，到针对老年骨骼健康的骨密度检测，再到排查腹部、腹股沟病变的B超筛查，以及老年痴呆筛查全方位覆盖老年人高频健康需求，帮助老人及时发现潜在健康风险。
现场有位王奶奶，儿女工作忙，平时很少来医院体检，听说这次义诊免费且项目丰富，特意赶来。“在家门口就能做这么多检查，还有医生详细讲解，真是太方便了！”王奶奶拿着检查结果，脸上露出欣慰的笑容。还有几位老人是老病友，看到熟悉的覃春莲主任及其他医护人员备感亲切，拉着他们的手唠起了家常，“你们总是这么贴心，心里装着我们老年人的健康。”义诊过程中，医护团队始终保持着饱满的热情，虽然忙碌，但看到老人们满意的神情，大家都觉得无比值得。
此次重阳节联合义诊，是衡阳市中心医院医务人员践行尊老敬老爱老传统美德、落实以患者为中心服务理念的具体体现，专业且有温度的服务为老年人的晚年生活保驾护航。（何海媛 周靓）
