现场，蒸湘区妇联相关负责人为2名符合救助条件的低收入“两癌”患病妇女发放救助金，每人1万元，共计2万元。负责人还与受助妇女亲切座谈交流，详细了解其身体康复进展、治疗方案落实情况及家庭实际困难，并鼓励她们坚定康复信念，保持乐观心态，积极配合治疗，勇于战胜病魔，早日恢复健康。
今年以来，蒸湘区妇联已将女性健康关爱工作纳入重点民生项目，通过多项举措推动“两癌”防治与救助工作落地见效。蒸湘区将构建以“两癌”免费筛查为基础、健康知识宣传为先导、精准救助保障为核心的全方位女性健康关爱服务体系，切实把关爱服务做深、做细、做实，持续增强辖区妇女的获得感。（罗红斌）
